Lyra, the heir to the Wolf Clan's throne, takes on the role of Kai's ""girlfriend"" to repay the human boy for saving her life twelve years ago. Together, they weather clan conflicts and a manhunt by the Wolf Clan, fall in love, and defeat the villain Sable. In the end, Lyra is crowned queen, and Kai transforms into a werewolf to protect her. Together, they work to safeguard each other's worlds.
